Reports first came in at the start of December, in 2011. An anomaly somewhere so close to the Order’s headquarters was seen as a big threat, but the investigations had taken too long. Every day, one or two people would disappear. Reports from the Finders noted that the missing people were seen almost sleepwalking, speaking to themselves, and then they would disappear. It was that that brought Keera Ufton to the little town of Cordes-sur-Ciel, a place she would have neglected to even know of. Described as a place where even regret is beautiful, the general wasn’t really seeing it. It was cold, it was January and people were vanishing. It could easily be a clever kidnapper who was a hypnotist; exorcists of the Order had seen stranger things.
She pulled the black and gold coat further around her shoulders as she waited for the others. For once she wouldn’t be alone, and her feelings on that were undetermined. Due to the fact that she’d been in a different part of the world, she had taken a different flight to the country and a different route to the town. Now she waited in the outdoor market for them, breathing out steam like a steam engine.
People who passed by gave her strange looks, eyeing the uniform with curiosity, wariness and smirks. Every now and then she amused herself by turning the darkest and most sadistic of glares on one of the people smirking. Generally they panicked and dashed away, and if they didn’t she simply smirked back and moved onto the next target.
In her hand she held the information from the Order. Emailed to her and printed off for ease of access, it bore the details of the findings and the time and place for a rendezvous. No more information was needed in her eyes. The people she actually liked were few and spread out amongst the different branches of the Order, both the advantage and disadvantage of travelling so much. She leant heavily against a wall, cold even through her thick coat, and wondered vaguely if they would send one of the French exorcists she knew.
(Crappy opening post is crappy, sorry ><)

Information was that some strange things were happening in some small town he'd never heard of. If there was some strange goings on then he probably wouldn't have ever visited. He entered an alley way from a random door that happened to be there. Alexander's power was quite useful, he had no idea what he did before.
Alexander was dressed warmly wearing his normal beanie, but having replaced his jacket with an even thicker poofy darkish green jacket. He wrapped his arms around him shoving his gloved hands under his pits. He loved the cold, but it didn't change the fact that it was indeed cold. Walking out of the alleyway he looked around. He wasn't quite sure where he was exactly, but it seemed busy enough. Looking around it was most likely a residential area. This was his least favorite part of his job. They knew the place and they knew that something was going on, but the rest was a mystery he had to figure out himself.
So, What was the valiant knight going to do? His options were few: Stay, Play Video Game, Wander Around. Both option one and two weren't very appealing at all. Of course, there was the option of getting akuma's to do the work for him, but that would be a bit to obvious with this many people around. That only left option three. He felt the eyes of other people on him, but they didn't bother him. All he looked like was an out of place tourist. His man concern was exorcists. There was without a doubt at least one here, and that didn't include any of the little tech lackeys that they seemed to rely on for information. Why couldn't they have better lackeys like that? He sighed and a long trail of vapor rose from his mouth.
Alexander was starting to lose the feeling in his feet which were a lot less protected than the rest of him. He couldn't dawdle any longer, and people were looking at him even more thanks to him being stationary. Maybe it was the jacket? He pulled his hands out of his armpits and rubbed his arms together. He walked aimlessly along the sidewalks looking for anything suspicious, though he didn't really pay attention to where he was going.
