Accommodator: Someone who has the potential to synchronize with Innocence. It does not always mean they will be an exorcist, but all exorcists are accommodators
Activation/Invocation: This is what an Exorcist does when synchronizing with his/her anti-AKUMA weapon, and using its abilities. It is possible to activate the Innocence with out an Anti-AKUMA, but it causes major side-affects to the Accommodator.
Akuma: Akuma are weapons made by the Millennium Earl. They make up the Earl’s army, following orders from him, or orders from members or the Noah family. Akuma are created through the mixture of machine, soul, and despair. When a loved one has died and the living still mourn for them, the Millennium Earl appears at their side. He asks for their cooperation to bring back the soul of their loved one and places it in a special mechanical body that the Earl had created. It's only once this is done that the mourners realize their terrible mistake. Once they bring back their loved ones by yelling out their name in front of the mechanical body, the Earl orders the mechanical body to 'wear' their resurrector’s skin by killing them. The soul inside of the Akuma is trapped for all eternity, unless destroyed by an Exorcist.
Anti-AKUMA: Objects created by scientists that hold Innocence, so that an Exorcist may synchronize with it. Even though Exorcists should be able to synchronize with Innocence alone, they cannot activate it enough to make it a weapon. The Anti-AKUMA make it easier for the Accommodator to control the Innocence.
Black Order: The Army of the Vatican and Pope. Having different branches in each continent, it’s Main Head Quarters is in Europe. It is divided into different services- Active and Support. The active services are made up generals and exorcists. The support services include science, intelligence, medical, signal, security, diplomatic, and logistics sections. The Black Order fights against the Millennium Earl and his army of Akuma.
Brokers: In exchange for money, they give the Millennium Earl information, and humans to be turned into Akuma.
Chief Officer: The Chief Officer is the one in charge of a branch. Getting orders from those higher up, they relay and give orders to everyone else in their branch. They even give daily orders to Exorcists.
Clergyman: A name for those inside of the Black Order. Since the Black Order belongs to the Church, they are considered Clergymen.
Diplomatic Section: This section deals with all foreign affairs, and arranges for support and cooperation.
Exorcist: Accommodators who have been taught to synchronize with their Innocence and are able to invoke/activate it through a weapon. They are the only ones who can fight against the Earl’s army of Akuma, and do so with their Anti-AKUMA weapons.
The Fallen: The Fallen is a state which occurs to those Exorcists/Accommodators who have betrayed their Innocence, dealt with the enemy, or Betrayed God’s mission. It will also occur to those who have 0% Synchronicity with their Innocence. In other words, when non-accommodators are forced to become God’s apostles. It is in some ways, saying that those who were not chosen, or those who have betrayed, are sinners, and will suffer from The Fallen. The final form of The Fallen is a giant Akuma-like monster that wields a great destructive power, although its primary objective is to execute the Exorcist— taking 24 hours to do so. It is an irreversible state, and the Fallen can never be saved.
Finders: Supporters of the Exorcists, and members of the Black Order. They are sent to scout out places where an Innocence may be located, and if the chances are high, they call in the exorcists. Their uniform is a light yellowish outfit with a hood. They carry a telephone on their backs. The only method Finders have of protecting themselves is the creation of a barrier using what appear to be very large flashlights. When several Finders use the lights in conjunction the barrier can stop almost any number of level 1 Akuma. The lights can also be used offensively by several finders focusing the beam on an Akuma which traps it in a barrier.
Generals: When an Exorcist has reached the 100%--or exceeded 100%-- Synchronization, then they have a chance to become a General--though not all do. They take orders from the Grand Generals, and give orders to Exorcists.
Hall: Inside of Hevlaska, there is a chamber, known as the Hall, where any Innocence not being used by an exorcist is held. When the Exorcists bring back innocence they have fond, it gets put in here.
Innocence: Innocence is an energy created by god and contained in objects (Living and non-living) throughout the world. It is a power that those who have been chosen by god (Accommodators or Exorcists) can use. It is divided into 109 parts, and scattered all over the world.
Equipment Type While the most common it is by no means weak. Weapon type Innocence are contained within weapon forms and posses special abilities that aid in combating Akuma. The form of the weapon can range from being a lethal weapon, ever day objects, or strange items not yet seen on this earth. If you have a Weapon type please do not copy it from another show. I do not want to see someone running around with Ichigo's shiki.
Crystal Types A relatively new kind of Innocence. It is possible for all Weapon types to become Crystal types. These Crystal types are formed from the user's blood and change form with the user's emotions much like the Parasitic type, although they do not change the user's body. Not much is known about this form.
Parasitic Type This type is by far the hardest to come by. While weapon types are actual weapons the parasitic type is part of its exorcist body. While the parasitic type are able to control their Anti-Akuma more efficiently than the weapon type if their weapon is damaged or destroyed it causes them actual physical pain and they risk losing that body part every time they go into battle. While in battle though the Parasitic type has been known to change according to the Exorcist's will and emotional state. They are capable of evolving into more powerful forms.
Intelligence Section: This section is made up of Finders. They go out and gather information. They search for signs of Innocence, or clues about Ark or the Earl.
Logistics Section: This section takes care of the daily activities that go around the Order, like cleaning, cooking, and accounting.
Medical Section: This section is made up of nurses and doctors. They take care of anyone who is sick, or injured.
Millennium Earl: Also known as "the Earl of Millennium", he tricks people with dead relatives and friends into creating Akuma. He is a sorcerer from long ago, and he plans to lead the world to its death. Some time in the past he formed an alliance with the Noah family, who call him "Duke Millennium".
Noah’s Ark: The original ark that was used by Noah to save the last living humans on Earth during the great flood. Now, it is currently used by the Earl to create Akuma. The original ark became "glitchy" after the Noah who originally controlled it gave away this ability to a human. A new ark has been built and downloaded components from the original.
Noah Family: The Noah Family consists of thirteen human descendants of Noah who have inherited his genes. A Noah can be identified by a gray skin tone, yellowish gold eyes, and a horizontal line of seven cross-shaped marks referred to as holy marks. Like Akuma, they base their powers off dark matter, the opposite of Innocence, and as such are vulnerable to Innocence. The Noah share an inborn drive to kill Exorcists, but otherwise possess unique will and mindsets. "Carved" on their genes is a memory of Noah different from any member in their generation and possess a supernatural ability.
Science Section: The scientists do research and conduct experiments on Innocence. They create weapons that the Innocence will inhabit, and personalize them for the Exorcists. They also create the uniforms for the Order.
Section Chief: The Section Chief is the one in charge of giving orders to their section.
Security Section: The security section guards all entrances and exits to the branch head quarters.
Signal Section: This section is made up of people who are in charge of the communication between the Order, Finders, and Exorcists.
Synchronization: Synchronization is what decides the amount of damage an Anti-AKUMA weapon can do. Most exorcists start out at around 25% synchronization for Weapon type, and 35% synchronization for Parasitic type. The more one fights with their Anti-AKUMA weapon, the more Synchronized they become. The more synchronization, the Anti-AKUMA weapon also gains more abilities.
