[/u] This Noah is able to transform their body into anything they wish. Whether it be animal, human, object, or even a liquid or gaseous matter. They are also able to keep the transformation limited to only a part of their body.Nicola Louise Saunders“All the Tales are Told. All the Orchids Gone. Lost in my own World, now I care for Dead Gardens …”
Nickname(s): Nick. Nicky.
Nationality: Australian
Age: Twenty-two
Gender: Female
Alliance: The Noah Family
Job: Journalist/Noah
Appearance:
Nicola Saunders is lacking of stature, in fact she is unusually short for someone in their twenties, standing at an unimpressive five-feet in height and is always being towered over by others, even by those younger than her. Fortunately, she possesses a fast metabolism, making it difficult for her to gain weight and preventing her from appearing stocky as some short people do. Slender but not painfully so, Nicola is often described by others as “petite” or “doll-like”, and possesses little in the way of curves, though isn’t “wash-board flat” either. And due to regularly practicing yoga at her house, and the occasional yoga class attendance, her body is fit, showing a little muscle and her body flexible. Nicola possesses an olive complexion, not being tanned but not pale either, the type of skin colour often seen on those who live in “The Land Down-Under”, its texture smooth and relatively flawless, baring no signs of scars or tattoos.
Her facial structure is small and round, almost childish and highly feminine, her facial features small and delicate. Her chin small and round, cheekbones slightly chubby and quick to darken with strong emotions, her nose small but slightly up-turned, and her lips small and pale but full. Nicola’s eyes are large and shown under thin dark eyebrows that are set high on her forehead, giving her a natural expression that appears surprised, unimpressed or questioning depending on the situation, her eyes heavily framed with thick sooty lashes. Her irises are an unusual shade of lilac that compliment her skin and face well, showing intelligence and are difficult to look away from, appearing almost piercing. Perched before her eyes and above her nose are expensive and stylish glasses, the lenses half-framed in grey plastic. Pale purple hair, once dark brown, falls in flawlessly straight strands almost to her knees, appearing never to have been cut in Nicola’s life, though is just about always tied back so that her hair doesn’t get in her way.
Nicola’s civilian attire is often reserved and highly casual, covering just about ever inch of skin on her body. Various styles of denim jeans, enclosing sensible shoes, heavy warm jumpers and jackets, and turtleneck shirts or sweaters, as well as the occasional t-shirt featuring some catchy quote or slogan. The style of fashion stereotypically associated with professors, librarians, artists and journalists. However, when meeting with the Earl or her fellow Noah family members, or on business for the Earl, Nicola chooses to dress differently, drastically so to her usual choice of garments. Leather skin-tight boots that stretch half-way up her thighs, black and purple with side zippers to help her get them off or on, a strap-less skin-tight suit with short-like leggings that only just successfully cover her back-side, flaunting cleavage and being black and purple in colour, and uniquely designed gloves that stretch almost from her armpits down to her wrists. Sleeveless and only attached from the parting between her thumb and index finger with a thin strip of fabric, jet black in colour with four purple bands encircling her wrist, elbow and biceps. A purple leather collar-like necklace decorates her throat.
In her Noah form, Nicola’s long hair darkens to a shade of black that appears almost like a very dark shade of purple whilst strange stigmata-like markings mar the vulnerable flesh on her forehead. Her lilac irises change to an unnatural topaz, whilst her skin colour darkens, appearing almost grey.

NOAH APPLICATIONSAbilities: Noah’s Form [Specialty: Body]
Anti-Parasitic: Nicola has the strange ability to weaken Parasitic exorcists. Just being near her will weaken such exorcists to some degree, usually by making them extremely tired or in an almost dream-like state.
Avian: Though Nicola has the ability to transform her body into anything that she desires, she has a preference for transforming her body into that of a bird. A crow, to be more precise, though slightly larger than your average crow. Her body covered in numerous glossy black feathers, her beak large and dark, only her unusual lilac eyes remain as features held by her whilst she maintains her human form. Even in her human body, she maintains some avian characteristics, such as being inhumanly fast whilst also possessing high flexibility and sharp reflexes. Her eyesight is much more powerful than a regular human’s, being able to see things perfectly in the distance, as well as pick up on any sudden or minor movements around her, and is quite observant. Strangely, she tends to quickly become restless when in enclosed or underground areas and moves in almost perfect silence, unconsciously sneaking up on others.[/ul]
History:
Nicola Saunders has once lived a rather ordinary life. She was born into a middle-class family and raised in urban Sydney, the main and most populated city in Australia. Both of her parents had remained happily married throughout her life, doting on their eldest child and her younger brother, Phillip. Her brother, three years younger than she, was annoying but tolerable and any other family members were either dead or lived too far away to pay any visits upon her. She received an adequate education, went through both primary school and high school without any difficult, was a high achiever at school and was well liked by her peers. She maintained a good relationship with her family, experimented a little with drugs, alcohol and boys, and didn’t cause too much trouble for her parents. She even scored high enough at school to make it into a popular university to study Journalism. And it wasn’t until this stage of Nicola’s life when things stopped being so ordinary.
She was so excited to finally be a university student, even more so that her childhood best friend, Ursula Hughes, also received a spot at the very same university as her, though had chosen to study teaching instead. The university scenery was a lot different to what Nicola was used to, and it took her a while to adapt, quickly learning that few were willing to make friends or offer support. She managed to make one friend during her first few month; his name was Liam Harper and he was a year older than Nicola but who she thought was a major heartthrob. In fact, Liam possessed only a limited amount of traits that Nicola found to be less than perfect, almost immediately developing a powerful verging-on-obsession crush on him; however, no matter how strongly she flirted with him, Liam appeared oblivious to Nicola’s feelings towards him. Treating her as a friend, encouraging her to go to concerts and other events with him but always encouraging Ursula to come along. It was probably a good thing that Liam treated Nicola as a friend, as the first year of her studies almost got the best of her, and if it wasn’t for Liam’s encouragements and minor tutoring, Nicola would have dropped out before the year was over. In other words, Nicola didn’t have the luxury of dating, though was happy nonetheless. Until the dreams started.
Nicola’s final exams were almost over and she was sleep deprived and stressed to the max. On the night of her final exam, having fallen asleep in the early hours of the morning, the first dream struck her. Featuring an era long past, of a place that she had never visited and people who she did not know. Waking up in a sweat-drenched panic, Nicola spent a few hours convincing herself that the dream meant nothing and had been brought about by her stress, before forcing herself to attend the exam. Passing it much to her relief. Afterwards, she agreed to go out and celebrate over a few drinks with Ursula and Liam, unsuspecting and happy until they both announced to her that the two of them were dating and had been for a few weeks but hadn’t wanted to say anything to Nicola until after the exams were over. Heartbroken and feeling betrayed, Nicola avoided the two of them like the plague for weeks, unable to so much as look at them, but eventually forced herself to forgive them and act happy, not wanting to end her friendship with them despite what had occurred. All the while, the strange dreams continued, haunting Nicola though she continued to belief that they were brought about by the stress in her life. One morning, whilst she spent the night at Ursula’s after recovering from a wild night out, Nicola woke up to experience a head-splitting ache radiating from her forehead and, in a panic, woke Ursula up, who immediately drove Nicola to the nearest hospital at the sight of the blood that oozed from Nicola’s forehead. Examining Nicola’s forehead, the doctor that was to treat her came to the conclusion, after learning from Nicola just how stressed she had been recently, that the stigmata-like markings on her skull had been self-inflicted and called in the hospital psychologist who, after conversing with Nicola, came to the same conclusion. Believing that Nicola was self-mutating and was coming close to a break-down.
Ursula wanted Nicola to be medicated and watched over like the physiologist had recommended but Nicola refused, not wanting any of that, causing more tension between her best friend and herself. Ursula didn’t push Nicola but contacted her parents, earning both Nicola’s annoyance and resentment. So for the next week, Nicola didn’t leave her house, and the dreams grew worse. Just as the most vivid and frightening dream passed, signalling the end of her nightmares, the Millennium Earl appeared before a sobbing shaking Nicola, as if he had materialised from thin air. Then, Nicola learnt the truth of what she was and what she could be, enchanted by the Earl’s words and feeling a connection towards him that she had never felt with anyone before. With this understanding, Nicola swore her allegiance to him and the Noah but did not immediately leave with him. Instead, almost two weeks later, fully recovered and more energetic than ever, she applied for a job at The Australian and was accepted without delay. From then on, she became quite popular for her articles upon the cult group called “The Black Order”, encouraging other journalists to focus upon them too, seeking to turn the General population against the Exorcists. This subject allows Nicola to take frequent trips overseas to better research the “cult”, though she really uses this time to hunt down “The Heart” for the Earl and to inflict as much damage upon the Order as she can. Nicola now rarely makes contact with her parents and brother, or with Ursula or Liam.
