Tall buildings. The sound of honking horns. Smog you name it, New York City had everything that a city needed to be a city. Alexander followed uniformly with the rest of the people who walked down the street focused on where he was going and what his goal was. He was on an important mission, one so important that if there wasn't such a crowd he would have ran. He also worried that someone might think he was up to something if he ran. Today his beanie was striped red and black and his shirt had a picture of Mario riding Yoshi. His clothes were a bit baggy so he guessed it would make people question his reasons for running.
There it was, his goal, the location which his mission brought him to. The two story building that had brought him to the annoying city. He was surprised by the lack of people to be seen within, but then he thought that most people would be at school or work in the afternoon. He opened the door to the building and he was in heaven. Games and consoles lined the walls. It was easy to get lost in amazement in the store. Yes, His mission had been to go to the Nintendo World Store. It was of course a personal mission since he didn't have anything to do for the Earl at the moment.
He had come to get the newest of the Pokemon games, honestly they never seemed to stop making them. He had also decided to come because he had never been even when he had lived there. It truly was an amazing place, for him at least. He did prefer Xbox over Nintendo but Nintendo had it's good points too. He spent his time browsing the things that they sold and then after hanging around for an hour or so he grabbed the game he had come for and checked out.
He exited the store and stood outside. It seemed like a waste of a trip to just come for a game and leave, even to the game obsessed Alexander. He clasped his hand together and stretched before deciding that before leaving New York City he should at least get a real New York style slice of pizza. He asked a couple for directions to their favorite pizza stand and tried to find his way there.
When he arrived at the stand he found himself near central park. After getting his pizza he headed over to the park and found a nice place to sit and eat his pizza. After he found a nice spot under a tree he pulled out his DSi and began playing he new game while chomping on the pizza. Despite the loud crowds and just plain noise of New York it had been a fairly nice day so far.

Why? Why in the world must he be sent out to New York City? He was born raised in California and a Californian in New York is usually not good. Heck he never touched snow in his life. Not that it was snowing today but he wasn’t made for cold climates. What made matter worse was that it wasn’t a mission. He was supposed to head over to the HQ in America to pick up some “special” supplies. Apparently they decided it be best to pick it up in New York. Kai dressed in average clothing. He didn’t wear his normal uniform because it wasn’t his job to fight Akuma. All he need to do is get from point A to point B as soon as possible. So here he was with these big thick sunglasses, to cover his “disability” from others. Since wearing a mask in public causes way too much suspicion. His dull old looking jeans and thick sweater made him look like a beggar. Well, it wasn’t that bad. At least it didn’t draw much attention. He walked around for a few minutes trying to find the pick up zone. “Asking a blind person to pick up a package. Really now?” he mumbled to himself.
He walked around, blowing a large amount of ectoplasm as he went. Luckily for him the climate was still pretty cold. So it looked as though he was blow out warm breath. As he continued walking he began to feel a chill down his spine. The temperature was dropping and at a fast rate as well. Kai he then found the closest store to buy a bigger jacket. Really now, It’s freezing here. After spending all of his travel money on the jacket he proceeded to go to his meet place.
After a few more minutes he got a call on his cellphone saying that the package was delayed. Kai gave a small sigh before sitting down on a bench in Central Park. Little did he know his sworn enemy was sitting a few inches away from him.
(OOC: sorry for it's suckyness. My muse is super low right now.)

The cold wasn't that big of a deal for Alexander, it was better than being hot and unable to get cold. You could at least pile on clothes in the cold. Though as much as he enjoyed the cold he had to admit it made playing hand helds a bit difficult to play. He had quickly devoured the pizza and proceeded to curse at the game under his breath. He impatiently pressed the buttons a bit tired of Pokemons repetitive opening scenes. It also irritated him that the rival always had to pick the Pokemon that was most effective against you. It didn't really phase him when the man sat near him. No, It was more important that he made his rivals Squirtle 'faint'. It really wouldn't have phased him wether he was playing games or not. Why should it? It's a stranger, Why bother with them? There was something about the man though Alexander couldn't quite put his finger on it. Probably the sunglasses? Ah well no need to dwell on it. It seemed that he couldn't put his finger on the right button either. The fact that his finger was numb from the cold kept him from realising that he had done so until the message "Flame used Tail Whip!" came up resulting in his charmander fainting instead of his rivals Squirtle. This upset him mostly because he hadn't saved and now he had to go through the entire creation process, Again. "Shit." he hissed under his breath. How could he have made such a simple mistake? It seemed impossible to him. The answer he came to was that the man sat down, distracting him and ultimately causing him to lose. This upset Alexander very much. Did sunglasses not understand how vital winning video games was to his happiness or even how annoying it was to repeat scenes? He glared as sunglasses probably confusing him. What would seem as a random glare to sunglasses was quickly explained when Alexander angrily said "You made me lose!" he said irritatedly "Asshole!" (OOC:// It was fine )

Kai wasn’t phased much by the comment. He had a lot of problems of his own. But, then again, he figured a conversation might be just the thing he needs to have right now. No matter how irritated they may be. “Excuse me, but the thin is… you…” It took him some time to remember the word. He remembered the scientists back at home used it a lot. What could that word be? After a while he said in a slow and stern tone “Fail…” He hoped that was the right word to use when it comes to playing a game. He was still unfamiliar on the functions of gaming. Mostly, because he was blind, so most things on the TV were pretty much foreign.
While this was all going on his mind was getting more irritated by the second. He took a deep breath and calmed his body and mind down. He then shot out a large chunk of smoke into the area. It allowed him to see who was his accuser was. To his surprise it wasn’t a little kid. It made him wonder what this world has gone too. People playing games at that age. Then again he never played a video game so he couldn’t really judge. It felt odd though. He had this odd feeling that this person was more then just a gamer. He didn’t know what it was though.
It was then he asked “Do you live around here?” He just wanted to know whether there is a possibility that this person was more then meets the “eye”.

Glasses man was lucky, For if Alexander had not been trying to get back to where he had been when he died Alexander would have ripped his head off. He did NOT fail, Failure was not an option. What did glasses know anyway? He let the comment slide but if the man said anything else like that again, Well he might not be as merciful.
Alexander noticed the large breath the man let out, Man he must be some sort of swimmer. Though it seemed a bit to much even then. "BAM!" he said when he defeated his rival. "I take back what I said earlier. You causing me to mess up was good in the long run. Squirtle is definitely better than Charmander." He had lost some of his irritation toward the man, but only some.
He simply took the question of whether or not he lived in New York as conversation and answered "Nah, I used to but then I got a nice job offer overseas and left. I came here to check out the Nintendo store." His eyes never left the screen of his DSi and to some that might strike up as rude but he didn't care. "You?" he asked after a moment.
