Today was a lazy day for Torin, A welcome break from work. He had just gotten back from a mission in some city in some country. It was a dead end this time, but he didn't take it to heart. Dead ends happened and they had to be taken in stride. Currently, He was sprawled out across one of the sitting rooms sofas. It was very comfortable and he managed to doze off a few times.
The room wasn't crowded, but it also wasn't empty. Torin spent his time watching people go in and out of the room. He liked to watch the people who had been in there for over ten minutes. There was one guy a few paces away who was reading the newspaper. Torin spent a few times counting how many times the man secretly picked his nose and flicked it away. Here's a hint it was over ten times.
Torin bent his head backward awkwardly and caught a glimpse of the clear blue sky outside. He wished it wasn't so cold out. The sun was shining and the sky was clear. Any other season that would mean fun in the sun or at least a little sunbathing on the roof. Sadly, winter meant cold and he didn't like being outside in the cold. He also didn't like being out in the heat. Ah, What a hard person to please he was.
He spent his time in the sitting room doing this for the most part and after two hours and a large amount of failed conversations he was getting bored. Torin stretched his arms back and heard a satisfying crack. He watched the doors intently waiting for someone new and exciting to come in. If he didn't get a good conversation partner soon he'd resort to wandering around the headquarters, Which he really didn't want to do given the risks it presented.
